Topic: Emotional Pain
How do we all deal with this? It's something we've all had in the past, maybe even the present, and, unfortunately, in the future. What is the best way to handle this type of a situation? One answer is hard to come by. Some people go through drastic measures and do something desperate. When I have drama, I attempt to keep myself busy. I tend to feel as if I want to be alone with my thoughts, but that never cheers me up. When I have my mind busy thinking about a video game I'm playing, or the friends I'm with, the day goes much smoother. It does help to have the advantage of living with my best friend, but when he isn't here, it is hard to deal with problems. The only thing to keep me positive is to think "Things will get better from here, one day, in the future, I will be happy again." That crosses my mind when I feel the burden of emotional pain within me. I do feel like I deal with it better than others at times. I've seen some people who are really down on their luck, and want alternatives to fix it instead of giving it time. These are the people that I feel bad for and I wish I could help them. The only real solution to these problems is the person who caused it in the first place.
